Upscale profitable livestock to invest in and own. Cameron Mountain Alpacas breeds huacaya alpacas with great care and attention on our farm in Central Virginia.

Come talk to us; we will help you to design your own package of alpacas within our network of farms. Choose from quality alpacas of diverse genetics: Black Peruvian alpacas, grey Peruvian and Chilean alpacas, pure white Accoyo and Alianza Peruvian alpacas, plus fawn, brown and more! Along with alpacas for sale we offer alpaca breeding (Herd sire services -- Click here to see Black Nac's crias!), boarding (agisting), and the sale of our premium quality alpaca yarn and other alpaca products through our farm store (with an online store to open soon--see store preview).

We enjoy talking about alpacas whether it is educating new alpaca buyers and breeders about alpacas, farm layouts, the day-to-day maintenance of an alpaca herd or sharing tips and stories with experienced alpaca breeders.

You are welcome to come to Cameron Mountain Alpacas to visit with us for education, inspiration, consultations on alpaca genetics and for just the sheer joy of meeting our alpacas. We will reward your visit with our Basic Alpaca Handbook to take home with you.

Photographing alpacas is so much fun for us and we are proud to say we have won some ribbons at the national level at the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association annual conferences.

We also make it a priority to learn everything we can about the practical application of the very limited information available on alpaca genetics and we continually strive to complement the environmentally friendly nature of our fleecy friends. We have taken on the challenge of making our own gravity-fed water supply and our solar power plant is in development, having passed an initial trial.

Crias Romping: "There are two things to aim at in life:

First, to get what you want;

and after that,

to enjoy it...

Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second."
