Our Family of Alpacas

Here are some of our family: At left is a photo of some of our females including our 2 spring 2006 crias, Cirene and Somerset with Cirene's 2 older sisters, Chamonix and Snow Trillium (white). Cirene's dam is the white alpaca at the back of the group along with 3 other pregnant females.

Some say an alpaca can't get any cuter than when newly shorn as a yearling (left).

Spirit looks pretty cute on his warming mat, doesn't he? (below)

Here are some of our foundation herd...

Peruvian Cirene : This is a very sweet female pure white daughter of Bullet Proof and also a Bueno granddaughter. She has a sturdy frame with great capacity and superb fleece. She has grown so quickly and was ready to breed at only 13 months. Since she was already nearly 120 pounds, we made an exception and exposed her to Cavalier. She was apparently ready as she cushed immediately and settled on her second breeding. Because of her unusually young age at breeding, we have taken her off the sales list pending the delivery of her cria.

Whistler's Surefire Betsy : She's 3/8 Accoyo, true black, Peruvian Camilio and Peruvian Leon on her sire's side and CPeruvian Remington on her dam's. We will breed her in the spring of 2008 and bring her to the show ring a time or two beforehand. Not for sale.
