All four of Tristan's grandparents were Peruvian imports, his Accoyo grandsires' records show very high import ratings (8.5 and 9 out of 10). Mowrey, Tristan's granddam had an import histogram of 18.9.

Tristan's previous owner did not show him. Finally getting his debut at the 2009 Mapaca Jubilee Fleece show in the extremely competitive 2 year old white class (including females) his score was 75, with 17 (out of 20) for fineness and handle. His uniformity earned him 17.5 points (out of a possible 20). He is passing on his uniformity and fineness to his offspring.
